Hey, I’m Cierra! While photography is my full-time passion, I’ve also fallen in love with hand poke tattooing—a craft I became more serious about in 2023. After carefully learning the ropes, practicing on synthetic skin, and getting guidance from artists I admire, I decided to fully dive into this unique art form.
Art has always been a huge part of my life, and tattooing gives me another way to leave a lasting impression on my clients—literally! Hand poke tattoos, also known as stick-and-poke, are done without machines. I’m the one guiding each needle poke with care, giving you a more controlled and personal experience.
If you’re a bit nervous about traditional tattoo machines or just want something gentler for your skin, hand pokes might be perfect for you. Many clients find the process soothing, intimate, and even relaxing. I love that it lets me have real conversations with you, free from the loud buzzing of machines. It’s all about creating a calm and comfortable experience!

Since hand poking is done manually, without the aid of machines, it can take longer than a traditional tattoo. Every needle poke is made with intention. For a small 2x2 inch design, expect the process to take at least 1-2 hours, with the time increasing for larger designs. Some bigger pieces may require multiple sessions.

Yes! Hand poked tattoos are permanent, just like machine tattoos. They hold the same lasting quality.

Currently, I charge by the piece for designs that are 5x5 inches or smaller. For larger designs, which may require multiple sessions, the price will be set by the session. Tattoos are subject to tax.

I work from a private, health board-certified studio in Vernon, BC. This space allows us to have a quiet and peaceful environment, free from the hustle and bustle of a busy shop, ensuring you a comfortable and uninterrupted tattoo experience.

I understand that you may want the support of a friend during your session. If that’s the case, please let me know ahead of time. While I’m happy to have your friend with you for support, it's important that they don’t become a distraction. If I find that their presence is disruptive to either of us, I will kindly ask them to step out.

Each design is available for just $75 + tax and will be 2-3 inches in size. If you'd like a larger size, the cost will increase accordingly. You can also customize your design with:
A single pop of color for an additional $15
Full color and shading for an additional $30
All designs are repeatable, and this offer is available until the end of November 2024. A $50 non-refundable retainer is required upon booking. Please inquire at the contact form below.
